About the Game
Capture, build, call, and trail your way to the winning score
American Cassino is a classic fishing-style card game played from a hand of cards against a shared table. Each turn asks you to decide whether to take points now, set up a stronger capture for later, or leave a card behind to change the shape of the table.
The heart of the game is table control. Players capture cards by matching values, combine cards into declared builds, call existing builds when they can claim them, or trail a card when they need to set up the next exchange.
Points come from smart collecting: aces, spades, key Cassino bonus cards, sweeps, and the total cards you gather all matter. Good play is about seeing the next few turns, protecting your builds, and denying your opponent the table they want.
